LeaveFriday (“we,” “us”) operates leavefriday.com. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and your rights.

What we collect

Email address. When you sign up for our newsletter or save a trip, we collect your email. We use it to send you weekend trip recommendations and price alerts. We never sell your email to third parties.

Usage data. We use PostHog (a privacy-focused analytics tool) to understand how people use the site: which pages are visited, which trips are saved, and which outbound links are clicked. This data is aggregated and not tied to your personal identity unless you've provided your email.

Cookies. We use essential cookies for site functionality. PostHog may set analytics cookies. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels from ad networks.

How we use your data

We use your data to send you weekend trip recommendations via email, improve the site based on usage patterns, and track which trips are popular (the view and save counts you see on the site). We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their marketing purposes.

Affiliate links

When you click an outbound link to Google Flights, Booking.com, or another travel provider, you leave our site and are subject to that provider's privacy policy. We may earn a commission from bookings made through these links. This does not affect the price you pay.

Data retention

We retain your email for as long as you're subscribed. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send. Upon unsubscription, we remove your email from our active mailing list within 30 days.

Your rights
